Fabric club in London - a longtime winner in any "best club of the world" poll - recently celebrated its 10th anniversary. Next to a weekend long full of clubbing extravaganza, Fabric asked a few of the artists that were playing in the club during the birthday weekender, to make an exclusive tune for them. Enter... The Subs ! The birthday weekender and The Subs' gig was fantastic as we've heard, and so is the track they made for Fabric.

The Subs - Mitsubitchi

Gomma Dance Tracks - the sub-label by Munich-based Gomma Records for their output of club-focused 12" maxis. Volume 5 is the second outing by Telonius with the track 'Disco-Tec' including remixes by Zombie Nation and Moulinex.

• Sublabel of German label Gomma for the output of club-focused tracks
• First record by Telonius (co-producer of Munk), included remixes by Glimmers and Mike Monday.
• Volume 2 by Diskokaine aka MarfloW aka Wolfram from Vienna included DJ Funk & Christopher Just Remix
• Volume 3 by The KDMS included two remixes by disco house legend Nicky Siano.
• This record comes with remixes by Zombie Nation and Moulinex.

With his project Telonius, Jonas Imbery one of the 2 chiefs of gomma records is returning to his musical roots - early House Music from the 80ies and 90ies. His inspired DJ-Sets convey a dense and rich musical texture, spanning from Frankie Knuckles' Warehouse inspired Retro House and Loft-style Disco music to brand new club productions. Never sounding stuck in the past, but with both feet firmly based in the current musical streams of electronic club sound, which also shows in the productions for Telonius.

Telonius - Disco-Tec (Zombie Nation Remix)

With a moniker like Hermanos Inglesos one could secure himself a lucrative future as part of a Columbian smuggling cartel or some cheesy Anglo-Mexican mariachi act.
Nevertheless, the real life brothers Cedric and Didier Engels are none of the above. They feel best at home in their studio or behind a DJ-mixer, preferably in front of a frantic crowd, hungry for good times and exciting tunes. The Belgian siblings are not only united in blood but also in a taste for music like irony never happened. The boys wear their influences on their sleeves and are not ashamed to admit it. Belgium has a great tradition in electronic music, clubbing and bringing forth influential DJs. From the R&S label and the groundbreaking club Boccaccio, to Eskimo Recordings and Culture Club. Hermanos Inglesos sucked it all in and made it their own.Result : eclectic DJ-sets including their own edits, remixes and tracks. Last year these Diesel-U-Music-winners/ex-Culture-Club-residents signed a record deal and released a few EP’s and remixes, with succes.
Now they just finished their full album, to be released in the beginning of 2010 (Pias), with ‘Mastermind’ as first single. Expectations are sky high... Hermanos Inglesos sera au Social Club à Paris le 12 Décembre.

After the killer Harvard Bass remix, we bring you.... Zombie Disco Squad ! ZDS have had an unbeatable 2009 so far, with releases on Jesse Rose's Made To Play label, Claude Von Stroke's Dirtybird and TTC head honcho Teki Latex's Institubes off-shoot Sound Pellegrino. Add to that a residency at seminal Berlin megaclub Panorama Bar and remixes for the likes of VV Brown and Wiley and, well... say no more. No doubt this remix will be a staple in their sets for months to come. 'Set Me Free' is released next week on NYC's Trouble & Bass.

Kazey & Bulldog "Big Truck Pt. II"

Purest B-More club sh*t, that's, err, from two Parisians called Kazey & Bulldog. This is the followup to their worldwide smash 'Dirty Wheels EP' and contains six tracks of booty slamming breaks and 808 bass that's found it's way into the boxes of everyone from Busy P to DJ Mehdi, Sinden, Tittsworth and everyone else. While sometimes we can find this stuff a little lacking in the ideas department, these tracks are bursting with hooks, chops, edits and hot club flavour that's guaranteed to work it when you need to. The Baile Funk remix of 'Sweet Harmony' from DJ Sandrinho is particularly choice too ! Limited edition and full picture sleeve.

Sound of Stereo "Zipper"

Sound of Stereo is back with a fresh EP, Zipper. In the past few months Sound of Stereo has been all over the place. Not only have they played every large festival and venue in Belgium & Holland, their tracks have also been picked up by big names such as Bloody Beetroots, Steve Aoki, MSTRKRFT, Armand Van Helden, Crookers, Congorock, Jokers Of The Scene and many, many more. Jochen from Sound of Stereo also co-wrote a track on the brand new Bloody Beetroots album. With the new Zipper EP comes a more mature sound that proves that Sound of Stereo is more than just wobbly beats and funny lyrics. The EP - that is on release on the 23rd of November on Lektroluv Records - contains 3 brand new tracks that you can preview in one handy "mini-mix" below. A very limited run of 50 vinyls in a very special packaging will be for sale from www.lektroluv.be and www.myspace.com/soundofstereomusic only, keep an eye on them !

Sound of Stereo - Zipper EP Teaser

Luca Venezia, aka Drop The Lime, has almost singlehandedly reinvigorated the club scene in America. He set new standards with his ridiculous performance at Coachella in April, became the poster boy for the Mishka clothing line, and he’s been solidly writing and recording amazing new music for his debut album. But let's focus on ‘Set Me Free’. Well, where do you start ? It’s one of those records that comes along and breaks all the rules. It’s so fierce and blatantly in your face that most people’s initial reaction is to shy away, but live with it and experience it on a packed dancefloor and we promise you’ll realise that there’s much more to it than just a pounding, bass-fuelled, rave anthem. It's the soundtrack of modern day youth culture, and it’s the track that’s had the biggest response at any show Luca has played in the last 6 months. This is the one that every DJ he's played with has begged him for and like it or not, it’s the sound of the future. Don’t underestimate the power of this record. You’ve been warned. Harvard Bass is a relative newcomer on the scene, putting out consistently impressive remixes and solo material through Institubes off-shoot Sound Pellegrino over the last few months. His remix of 'Set Me Free' is an epic tropical rework with one of the best drops of the year. The new single is out november 2nd on Trouble & Bass.

Tracklist :
1. Set Me Free (Harvard Bass Remix)
2. Set Me Free (Lil Silva Remix)
3. Set Me Free (12” Mix)

Get Shakes "She Found The Diamonds"

Having spent the last year building a new studio, recording new album material, developing both their production sound and new live setup, Matt and Darren Farrow aka Get Shakes are back with a new release and big plans for 2010. This single, the first taster of what you can expect on the LP, features two tracks that are bound to whet your appetite once again and you’ll notice that although Matt and Darren are still coming from the same direction, there’s a very noticeable progression in their sound. The A-side ‘Love Hate’ is pure acid house influenced pop, with both of them doing their thing over the top of a huge 303 riff, reminiscent of Soulwax and James Murphy. Yet again the guys have been able to create something that will be equally at home at 4am in Fabric as it will be at midday on Radio 1. The AA-side ‘She Found The Diamonds’, with its alternative disco groove, choppy angular guitars and chanting vocals is another example of Get Shakes versatility. It’s very effective and you can hear how this will be a huge live favourite.

8000 is something different from Proxy yet another amazing track, really fresh. - Sound of Stereo

Yo Majesty "Freaks Come Out"

It’s All Hallow’s Eve and Yo Majesty with their gang of Freaks have crept from the shadows to bring you ‘Freaks Come Out’. Released digitally on October 31st, the track gears up for the band’s second album, set for release in early 2010. It’s an underworld of quivering shadows and silhouettes, grainy night vision and borrowed camcorders that smacks of snuff. Filmed at producer David Alexander’s flat in Dalston, London, and directed by Dead Kid Mike Title, ‘Freaks Come Out’ is a grimy East London labyrinth, a carnivalesque realm of souls scratching unending nightmares on unending dark. Expect more from Dead Kids and Yo Majesty as the Tampa girls feature on the forthcoming Dead Kids album Dark Party. Jewel B from Yo Majesty will be joined by Dominique Young Unique and Sam Amant later in the year for a tour starting December 4th. Dates and venues TBC.

Yo Majesty - Freaks Come Out

MSTRKRFT "Bounce (Doorly Remix)"

Having already received tons of attention and support from DJ’s and fans, Geffen proudly present ‘Bounce’, MSTRKRFT’s second single and without doubt the biggest party starter on the album. Unadulterated fun is the key component of this song that’s built around a huge electro riff that is proven to kick-start any dancefloor and that’s a fact. Enlisting the help of N.O.R.E. (also known as Noreaga) the guys make sure you know exactly what they “do”, demanding you “bounce low, bounce high” as all they do is party. It’s exactly this ethos and energy that appeals with JFK and Al-P, it’s a straight-up party classic for the youth of today that manages to encapsulate both the lifestyle and sound that they’ve become synonymous with. Backed up with dancefloor mixes from Doorly, Maya Jane Coles and Felix Cartal, don’t be surprised to be hearing a lot more of this record !

MSTRKRFT feat. N.O.R.E - Bounce (Doorly Remix)

Breakage ft Skream "Skreamage"

Breakage releases new single 'Run Em Out' on Shy FX's Digital Soundboy label on October 26th. Having been releasing music since 2001 with over 40 productions and remixes to his name, Breakage, aka James Boyle, cut his teeth a long time ago and is widely regarded as one of the most talented producers in Dubstep and Drum’n’Bass today. Step outside of those worlds though and you won't find many that are aware of this gifted beat conductor, but not for long, with the release of his debut album for Digital Soundboy “Foundation’ scheduled for early next year, Breakage is about to take over. Having been working closely with Shy FX, the owner and A&R for Digital Soundboy, Breakage has been free to truly express himself with Shy signing him to his label in February ’07. His second 12” release for the label last year was the groundbreaking ‘Clarendon’ which grew into one of the most supported and praised dance records of the year. A challenging, mid-tempo, bass-driven monster, exploring dub sound like no other, ‘Clarendon’ won Breakage a nomination for Best Producer Of The Year with DJ mag and global respect. ‘Run Em Out’, featuring the unmistakable vocals from the legendary Roots Manuva, is a future anthem in the making, with a Drum’n’Bass tempo but without a big drop, it’s the brooding sense of attitude and rhythm that come to the fore. Without doubt a huge record for this year and one that will be stuck in your head for days. "Run Em Out, Run Em Out, Soundboy…

1. French Horn Rebellion – “Up All Night”
We recommend their four Euros D.I.Y. video for such a gigantic song.

8. Two Door Cinema Club – “I Can Talk (Moulinex Remix)”
Our favourite from Kitsuné Maison 7 is here again, no wonder the band has now signed to Kitsuné. Their album, to die for, will be out shortly. How will these very shy boys deal with the hordes of female fans that will soon land on their doorstep? A song about silence and the unexplainable.

Il contiendra également 2 versions du titre inédit « This Is It ».

Phoenix "Lisztomania (DSL Remix)"

Dominique Young Unique is straight out of the Robles Park Neighborhood Projects of Tampa Bay, Florida. She is 18 years old and making music that's making moves out of the ghetto and reaching out worldwide. This is her first release on ARTJAM and is produced by Hard Feelings (Yo! Majesty). Dominique's neighborhood, next to the military control centre for the war in Iraq, dominates her music, as a full‐on barrage of sound that demands your attention. Lead track "Hot Girl" is full of playful twists and turns, dizzily taking the listener on a trip through her beat driven universe. "Music Time" smashes and crashes its way onto the dancefloor. Hypnotic, heavy and deep, it assaults you like a trippy playground rhyme that threatens to spiral out of control. EP HOT GIRL EP released 2nd November on ARTJAM.

Puppetmastaz Breakup Minimix Album

Alex James (Blur), Stephen Morris (New Order/Joy Division). New Order est mort, vive Bad Lieutenant ! Sortie le 19 Octobre.

Bad Lieutenant - Sink Or Swim

Ou Est Le Swimming Pool are a shiny new electro- pop outfit hailing from North London. Their superb debut 'Dance The Way I Feel' is an infectious slice of electro-pop with Pet Shop Boys influenced vocals and a catchy as hell baseline that will quite literally drag you onto the dance floor- the perfect post summer slam. What a year it's been for the three piece. They've shared stages with the likes of Sam Sparro, Mr. Hudson, Cypress Hill and Reverend And The Makers as well as packing out their own gigs with their own brand of infectious pop. They've gained support from most at Radio 1. They -were invited to play no less than 3 stages at Glasto, no mean feat when this time last year the band weren't even in existence. Ou Est started life as a 3 piece when founding member Charles Haddon moved to Camden in 2008 where he met locals Joe Hutchinson and Caan Capan. Within a month of the trio's paths first crossing, 'Ou Est Le Swimming Pool' was born. The band had just started to make music together when they met production wizard Anders Kallmark who was instantly spellbound and asked if he could come aboard. They have built up a reputation for being one of the most exciting live bands of the moment; their passionate live shows bursting with energy and chemistry as they jump about the stage.

CROOKERS
"PUT YOUR HANDS ON ME"
FEAT. KARDINAL OFFISHALL & CARLA MARIE
Release Date : 5 October 2009

Prepare to be Crooked - Phra and Bot aka Crookers - the men from Milan have arrived and are ready to slam down hip-house style with their new track "Put Your Hands On Me". "We decided to call ourselves Crookers to describe what we do. To make beats and tracks that are not straight up, that are twisted or crooked" they explain. Brought up on a heady diet of hip-hop including Beastie Boys, Tribe Called Quest, Madlib and J Dilla it was when Bot bought second-hand turntables that they first got into house music. After remixing such huge names in pop and rock, Crookers have now gone direct to some of their favourite artists to work alongside on their debut album. Aptly titled "Tons Of Friends" and out in January 2010, the roll call of pals involved is jaw dropping. It includes, Kelis, Soulwax, Major Lazer, RadioClit, Spank Rock, Pitbull, Tim Burgess, Kardinal Official and Roisin Murphy. The first single to be taken from the album is "Put Your Hands On Me" featuring Kardinal Offishall & Carla-Marie and is a mahoosive slab of hip house with Kardinal serving up his distinctive dancehall style rap and Xenomania songstress Carla Marie Williams supplying the sugar.
